CHARITY - ALS

The Ironman World Champs this year in Kona will actually be my first ever attempt over the
Ironman distance.  So I thought I would use the experience to help raise money and  awareness
for the War On ALS. 
I will be working with the Blazeman Foundation, set up by Jon Blais (Blazeman) who was a keen
triathlete, but sadly, he lost his battle with ALS (a neurological disease) in May this year.  I had
the pleasure of meeting him and his parents at the 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater
last year.  His story and struggle is inspirational and it touched my heart (and left me in tears).
